New Year Resolutions
You make them and break them, but the beauty of New Year is that you can make them again. We asked some young peopleto tell us theirs.

“I will be finishing my course in two months and hope to graduate with good results. My New Year’s resolution is to work hard and make enough money to start a food stall.”

“My family is very important to me, so I resolve to spend more time with them next year. My current job requires me to perform shift work so I hardly have any time to see them. For this reason, I will be looking for another job that will allow for more normal working hours.”

“I’m sitting for my ‘O’ Levels this year, so my main resolution is to study hard to get into a good Junior College. In order to do this, I’ll need to find ways to strike a balance between CCAs and my studies. It’s easy to get carried away and spend a lot of time on training, so I’m determined to set aside time for schoolwork as well, so that I won’t fall behind.”

““I resolve to study hard in order to do well enough to get into a university of my choice. My dream is to read forensic science and it will require a lot of effort to get accepted into the course. I also want to strive towards achieving a medal from one of my CCAs – Air Pistol and NPCC. Lastly, I’d also like to spend more time with my family. Because I’m so involved in various activities, I often get home late from school, and don’t get to see them very much.”

"I’m married with two young children and I want to give my family a comfortable life.I may be young, but I want to prove thatI am capable of supporting my family andmaking them happy. My resolution this year is to work hard and get a better job that will enable me to give them everything that they want.”
