In the Year of the Dog, if you don’t have the real thing, the fake ones are not half bad. Mini Toons in Tampines Mall (#03-19) and Hougang Mall (#03-01) have quite a selection. There are huggable doggie bolsters and soft doggie pillows! There are tiny keychain doggies and big, fluffy ones. There are fierce looking bulldogs and dainty poodles. And those doggies in the window– we sniffed out prices – are going from a mere $2.90 to $49.90.
